Teddy co-owns DeepN with his business and life partner, Pamela. He handles the daily operations of candidate search and client delivery. Teddy brings nearly 20 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience, with over 1300 placements in the Technology sector. In his 15 years with the world’s largest IT services company, Teddy managed accounts, strategically developed business and sales objectives, and mentored teams toward success. Guided always by his refrain of Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency, Teddy fulfills the deep searches that match the candidate’s unique skill suite, personality and career goals to the client’s unique needs.
Pamela L. Alexander
Co-Founder, Strategy & Communications Partner
Pamela co-owns DeepN with Teddy. Pamela brings 20 years’ experience as an entrepreneur, marketer, writer, editor, teacher, singer, voice coach, strategy and communications specialist. She masterminds our business development strategies, manages relationships with our clients and candidates, and supports our team. In addition to being writer-in-residence for DeepN’s content and marketing, Pamela is the creator behind our Honourable Xchange media channels, where we share actionable content and offer educational programs on the theme of ‘restoring honour to human exchange.’
Gary Taylor
Senior Talent Partner
Gary brings 20+ years of experience in technical recruiting and over 15 years of productive partnering with our Founder, Teddy. He brings a strong background in sales, call centre management, training and leading teams. Gary’s superpower is going deep to find candidates who aren’t always uncovered by a typical recruiter’s search. He brings efficiency, persistence, and a fine-tuned capacity to match the experience and goals of IT professionals with the needs of an organization.
Smita Acharyya
Senior Talent & Media Partner
Smita brings over a decade of Project Management, Production Management, and IT experience to her role at DeepN. Smita’s film work has been selected as a New York Times Critics’ Pick, nominated for a Gemini, broadcast worldwide and screened at festivals internationally. Smita adds a unique perspective in finding talent for our team, through both her capacity for IT problem solving, and her experience moderating hundreds of applications for funding in her previous role at STORYHIVE. She goes beyond the listed skill set, to intuitively match top candidates with roles that align with their special qualities and career goals.
Freddy
Our Alter Ego Partner
Freddy is the robot avatar with uncannily human-looking expressions that you see on our web pages. He is our daily reminder that while the projects we staff and the skill sets we seek are technical, our work is always about honourable, kind and good-humoured exchange with the human beings we serve.
(Our Founder, Teddy was *almost* named Freddy . . . but that’s a story for another day :)
